Pepea Radio is set to announce the commencement of its operations soon as it prepares for a major internal restructuring, including the possible laying off of some staff members deemed unfit for the competitive ICT-driven media environment.

According to a statement attributed to one of the directors, the station is reviewing employees who are considered underperforming or a potential liability as it prepares to bring in a new team.

The director reportedly called for a thorough scrutiny of the current staff as part of efforts to strengthen the organization ahead of its official launch.

However, some employees, including Damaris Muchika, Chris Shikuku, and Celine Chelimo, are said to be exempt from the immediate review process.
