Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa has reaffirmed his commitment to improving learning infrastructure at Kamusinde RC Primary School, saying the institution’s transformation is progressing steadily.

Barasa said the rehabilitation of the school’s old classrooms has been successfully completed, with the renovated buildings now fully tiled to provide a more conducive learning environment. The upgraded classrooms complement the newly constructed eight-classroom storey building, which has significantly expanded the school’s capacity.

The next phase of the project will involve the installation of Cabro-paved walkways, aimed at improving accessibility, safety, and the overall appearance of the school compound.

“The transformation of Kamusinde RC Primary School continues with purpose and precision. Our resolve remains relentless—to build learning institutions that reflect the dignity, ambition, and promise of every child,” Barasa said.

He added that investing in quality education infrastructure remains central to his development agenda, emphasizing that education is key to empowering future generations and driving sustainable community development.

“Kenya is our heritage. Development is our vocation,” the legislator concluded.
