Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Zuhura Othman, popularly known as Zuchu, has announced that she and her partner, Naseeb Abdul Juma, better known as Diamond Platnumz, have ended their relationship after nearly six years together.
In a statement shared on her Instagram page, Zuchu said she had made the decision without bitterness, adding that the reasons behind the breakup would remain private. She simply stated that their journey together had come to an end.
“I wish Nasibu all the best. I have made this decision without any resentment. For now, my focus is on myself and my work. Alhamdulillah. I did my best where I could, but God has His own plans,” she wrote.
The announcement has sparked widespread speculation among fans, with many questioning whether the statement reflects a genuine separation or is simply a publicity stunt.
Diamond and Zuchu’s Marriage
Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu announced that they had married in early June last year. At the time, the announcement also left many fans confused, with some believing the couple had already separated.
Their marriage was reportedly conducted in private. Confirmation came after Diamond’s mother, popularly known as Mama Dangote, congratulated the couple in a post on her Instagram account, effectively confirming the union.
The breakup announcement also comes amid widespread speculation that Zuchu is expecting a child with Diamond Platnumz. However, neither of the two artists has publicly confirmed the pregnancy reports.
