The election of President William Ruto marked what many saw as the beginning of a new era of transformation for Kenya. In my view, his leadership has helped steer the country away from a system that appeared to benefit only a few influential individuals who made decisions based on their own interests rather than the needs of ordinary citizens.
I have said on many occasions that President Ruto’s administration would face strong resistance because it would disrupt the interests and mindset of those who had become accustomed to controlling the country’s political and economic direction. That is why Kenyans should remain vigilant and evaluate political narratives carefully.
In terms of development, I believe President Ruto has outperformed many of his predecessors by reviving projects that had stalled for years in different parts of the country. His administration has demonstrated a commitment to ensuring that long-delayed development projects are completed for the benefit of citizens.
The establishment of modern markets across the country has created better business environments for traders, while improvements in communication infrastructure, particularly in Western Kenya, demonstrate the President’s commitment to bringing lasting development to all regions of the country.
Ultimately, the performance of any government should be judged by its achievements, the implementation of its policies, and the impact of its development agenda on the lives of the people. While opinions about any administration will naturally differ, meaningful political discussion is best grounded in evidence, observed outcomes, and respect for differing views.I believe the next chance will make kenya look like a miraculous nation
